What is Human.Quest?

Human.Quest is a marketplace for humans to get instant answers to their questions in realtime/near real-time, interactive, pay-as-you-go model over a phone call.

Human.Quest is our honest attempt to celebrate the collective knowledge we all bring to the table both based on our personal life and professional experiences. We believe that humans are in constant quest for knowledge, but in doing so we don't have to re-invent the wheel each time but rather tap into the abundant pool of knowledge already out there. There is someone out there who knows the answer to our questions or lead us a step closer to our quest.

Who is a Seeker?

True to its name, Seeker is someone who is seeking an answer to a question.

Who is a provider?

True to its name, Provider is someone who potentially has an answer to your question

Can Seeker become a Provider and vice versa?

We all have some answers but many more questions.

Human.Quest Inc is unique platform where a user can switch from Seeker to Provider role seemlessly (and vice versa) with just one Human.Quest account, enabling users to find answers and to provide answers (and make income) with ease.

How does Human.Quest ensure Seeker satisfication, cause after all knowledge is an ocean, isn't?

Absolutely it is. Knowledge is so vast that even after being in a field for years you may find it difficult to answer some questions in that field. We understand and appreciate that conundrum.

And therefore we provide a few checks and features to ensure seekers get best value for their money:

  1. Joining bonus ($) which results in free talk time
  2. No call charge if call is disconnected within Call Evaluation Period(CEP)*. This time allows Seekers to evaluate Provider and network quality among other things
  3. Instead of Seeker calling matching providers and later finding out they don't know the answer, in Human Quest platform, Seeker's question is broadcasted to Providers selected by Seeker and it is the Provider that initiate the call with Seeker after seeing Seeker's question, which increases the probablity that the Provider knows the answer to the question. Seeker will get to rate Provider soon after the call.

How can I monetize my knowledge on Human.Quest?

It's time to awaken the teacher/guide/mentor, well whatever you would like to call yourself. You will be amazed at how much you know and how valuable your life and/or work experience can be to others...Cause many are yet to walk the path you already walked.

On Human.Quest all you need to do is select atleast one Category and Keywords/questions about which you would like to provide answers, select your rate $/min and wait for Seekers to reach out to you.

Example

  • Provider's rate = $1/min and call duration with Seeker = 10 mins
  • Total call charge = $1 * 10 mins = $10
  • Human.Quest Commission* = 30%
  • Provider earnings = Total Call Charge - Human.Quest Commission = 10 - (30% of 10) = $7
  • Provider earnings will be pushed to Provider’s bank account at the beginning of each month**

But we woudn't lie to you, we just got started and it will take some time for Human.Quest to get attention and trust of Humans. So please bear with us till you start seeing the real value of the platform. For now we suggest you to keep your Provider profile up to date and be ready for your first question to pop up.

*We are working on introducing Badges for Providers in future release. Providers will be eligible for higher percentage (than current 70%) based on the badge levels based on successful questions answered, ratings, reviews etc

**Though Provider's are eligible to start earning immediately after configuring Category, Keywords and rate, Providers will need to configure their bank account to recieve payouts. Payouts will be pushed every 1st of the month if the monthly earnings is more than $25

Questions in which categories are supported by Human.Quest?

We are constantly working on adding new categories to the platform. Current list of categories supported can be found on the 'Seeker' home page, just below the question search bar.

You may also use 'Support and Help' section from the 'More' menu if you would like to become a provider in a category not already listed.

Which Countries and Languages are currently supported?

Human.Quest currently supports English only and is live in the following countries both on Apple and Google App Stores:

  • US
  • Canada
  • India
  • UK

We are continously working on releasing the app in other countries.

What is Call Evaluation Period (CEP)?

CEP has been introduced to safeguard both Seeker and Provider

This time allows Seekers and Providers to evaluate each other, network quality, accent etc among other things. There is no call charge if call is disconnected within CEP i.e Seeker will not be charged for the call and Provider will not earn anything from that call.

You can think of this period as 'get to know each other' before getting into the weeds.

Current CEP is 5 mins*

*Once the Seeker or Provider disconnects the call, the actual disconnection in the backend may take effect after couple of secs due to various factors like network latency and/or other technical reasons. We therefore recommend to give yourself a buffer by disconnecting the call 4 to 5 secs before the 5 mins threshold to avoid seeing any charges.
